These are some of the questions I’ve collected from my GenAI learning sessions — moments where I came across things I didn’t fully understand and ended up having discussions around them.

They’re not in any particular order. Some lack context, many still have typos (I made no effort to fix them here), and a few are framed in strange metaphors I came up with — like “a giant hamster with ADHD running on a wheel strong enough to power it” — while others are more straightforward, like “why a 51% attack is technically possible but would be financially suicidal.”

What Are We Supposed to Do?

If Bitcoin never appeared, could other coins exist?

Is it logical to use Bitcoin for day to day shopping?

What is Ethereum? Is it a coin or a DeFi platform?

How can I healthily fork a network? I respect those who believe the original path is fine, but I believe in another way. For people who feel the same, I want to provide an alternative.

Can you explain the DAO hack causing the split between Ethereum (ETH) and Ethereum Classic (ETC)? I thought these systems were unhackable? Also if things are immutable how did they reverse?

Ok sooo the second group you said hackers funds are in their wallet. But on the other once they transformed ether into etherum and hacker doesnt have anything. and original ether kept living as ETC. SO the hacker can use their etc for their transacitons but not eth?

So blockchain has a data record format that we can display everywhere we want with needed technical stuff like an api for example?

If someone uploads, let's say, private images of someone or violence to a Blockchain Model (Web3 YouTube), they will be out there indefinitely. Is this really good?

Imagine this person wanted to have their legal statement out thinking they would make a good thought leader in the future so they are blockchaning them. Their document is the first block I guess, am I right? Then comments are other blocks.

Let's say it is now 5 years later and their way of thinking changed a bit. Can they go and let's say make an edited version linking it to the genesis block, and start a totally new chain?

Is the incentive the same as a gas fee? Is it really the price we pay for the computational and indirect sources like electricity for the computers that are completing our move?

Let's say I have a spare computer and a giant hamster with ADHD running on a wheel enough to power it for a few hours everyday. Can I be a validator? How can I be a validator? Do I need to sit there? Is it like a zombie computer used for DDOS?

If your computer goes offline or if you try to act maliciously, the network can automatically "slash" or take away some of your staked ETH as a penalty. This incentivizes you to be an honest and reliable participant. I don't quite understand this.

In the ETH example you just gave, how did the puzzle part disappear?

Since I'm not sitting on the laptop, how do I know my laptop isn't acting maliciously or go rogue?

What is double-signing exactly and how does it happen?
